A Study of a Possible Method for the Quantitative Non-Destructive Evaluation of Peripheral Nerve Regeneration.

Abstract

The program deals with a quantitative non-destructive evaluation method for peripheral nerve regeneration; specifically, nerve action potential measurements are being considered for possible clinical application. A brief review of the scope of the program is presented. During the present reporting period, electrode designs, lead wire and signal transmission considerations and some laboratory experiments are discussed. (Author)
