Synthesis of Monogenic Iterative Arrays of Machines.

Abstract

The monogenic tessellation automaton, a model for iterative arrays of finite-state machines, is studied from the synthesis viewpoint. Array design techiques are presented. The approach accommodates widely varying neighborhood interconnection schemes. Algorithms are given for the synthesis of arrays with respect to any given pattern sequence. (Author)
