Research on the Estimation of Trajectories from Radar Data.

Abstract

In this first quarterly progress report initial efforts in pursuance of project objectives are described. Section 1 gives a statement of work objectives and a brief summary of accomplishments so far. Section 2 presents a general classification of system errors that must be considered. The need for simplified-dynamics equations is discussed in Section 3. Section 4 describes procedures to be used in evaluating optimal filtering errors. Section 5 reviews techniques for filtering and describes the approach being taken for design of the required filter algorithm. Conclusions and plans for future work are in Section 6 and a list of significant references used is given in Section 7. (Author)
