An Investigation of Differential Equations Close to Homogeneous Ones.

Abstract

Considered is the behavior of integral curves of the equation dy/dx = a(sub n) x(sup n) +...+ a(sub 0) y(sup n) + q(x,y)/b(sub n) x(sup n) +...+ b9sub 0)y(sup n) + p(x,y) in the neighborhood of a singular point. The use of lines of maximum and minimum with respect to the radius-vector of the solutions makes it possible to give an improved picture of the behavior of integral curves. (Author)
