Neodymium Laser Glass Improvement Program

Abstract

The report continues detailing efforts expended toward achieving a means for measuring the stress optical coefficients of laser glass test specimens using a 3-pinhole interferometer. The apparatus design and construction is discussed. The experimental procedure is delineated and some initial results are presented. Finally a theoretical analysis of tolerance studies of the interferometer is appended.
