Computer System Design for Interactive Pattern Recognition.

Abstract

The report describes the Purdue Interactive Pattern Recognition Research Facility. The hardware includes an IBM 1131 digital computer, Rand tablet, high-speed communication link to another computer, Fast Fourier transform array processor, scanning microscope, and biological, clinical, and pollution data sensors. The software coding for communication between these devices is described. (Author)
