Semi-Operational Evaluation of File Modeling Techniques. Volume II. File Organization and Evaluation Modeling Systems: User's Guides.

Abstract

One of the objectives of the present contract is to improve the capability, accuracy, and ease of use of the FOREM models. Actual use has shown that some very desirable features were not originally included in the models. In fact, these features are often necessary to perform certain simulation analyses. The improvement in FOREM I is in the form of a preprocessor as described in the next section. For Phase II (or FOREM II), a secondary index facility has been implemented and integrated into the model itself. In addition, a few other minor improvements are given in the revised User's Guides in this volume. (Author)
