Effect of Crystal Structure Imperfections on Ultra-Sound Damping in Metals,

Abstract

The paper deals with the influence of plastic deformation on the damping of ultrasound in aluminum single crystals; relaxation damping maxima in plastically deformed single crystals of molybdenum and niobium; and the interaction between a dislocation and an impurity atom. (Author)
