Statistical Operational Characteristics of Digital Computers,
Abstract
The article discusses the statistical characteristics of the reliability of digital computers, time characteristics and reliability coefficients. The time characteristics include mean-period characteristics of service periods, time of prevention, and the time needed to repair any malfunctioning of digital computers as well as the mean time of failure-free operation of the individual components and the computer as a whole. The reliability coefficients include: preparedness coefficient, loss coefficient, prevention coefficient, prevention effectiveness coefficient. In addition, a block diagram is given of the program for processing statistical data on the operation of digital computers. (Author)
