Behavior of the Solutions of a System of Differential Equations in the Neighborhood of Closed Orbits,

Abstract

A system of differential equations is considered. It is assumed that a biparametric family of periodic solutions is known for a system of unperturbed equations; n-2 characteristic indices for equations in variations have a negative real part; in a certain given vicinity of curve (5) the given functions are periodic in t with a period of 2 Pi uniformly in a given respect and, together with its partial derivatives of any given order, limited and uniformly continuous in a respect for a given equation. With these assumptions the author shows the existence and uniqueness of an integral uniformity depending on two arbitrary constants possessing the property of attracting any solutions of a system of differential equations, the initial values of which belong to some region.
