Method of Amplifying Acoustic Fields,

Abstract

Intensification of acoustic fields by delivery of energy into the compression zone and removal of energy from the rarefaction zone is shown. In order to obtain a stable field of pulsating detonation waves and increase the effectiveness of influence of various physical and chemical processes, a chemically-active agent is introduced into the acoustic field of generators in cascade. The agent may be, e.g. in a gaseous state. The heating and cooling of the gas is made in the compression or rarefaction zone, up to the temperature of an exothermic or an endothermic reaction.
