Method of Obtaining a Multipurpose Additive,
Abstract
The title additive was prepared by condensing an alkylphenol with HCHO and neutralizing the condensation products with an alkalinc earth hydroxide. These processes occurred simultaneously in the presence of naphthenic, palmitic, stearic, and other carboxylic acids. (Author)
