Bearing Assembly,

Abstract

The bearing assembly consist of separatorless, radial antifriction bearings with cylindrical rollers set between the pin and the outer race and ball thrust bearings. It is distinguished by the fact that, in order to improve carrying capacity and to reduce the dimensions of the bearing assemblies used in universal joints, the ends of the rollers contain spherical grooves, in which the ball thrust bearings are set. These interact with the interface of the outer race and with the pin. (Author)
