Lubricating Oil,

Abstract

The patent pertains to drop-type lubricating oils for lubricating metallic or nonmetallic friction surfaces in friction units of instruments, for example, time instruments. The lubricating oil based on synthetic esters, hydrocarbon, polysiloxane, or fluorocarbon liquids and varies from others in that, in order to prevent spreading on a metal surface, its composition contains 0.05-1 wt. % perfluorinated fatty acid of formula CF3(CF2)nCOOH, where n = 5-20.
