Bi-Stable Electrophotographic Display Device.

Abstract

A study has been performed of the feasibility of using a Sustained Electron Bombardment Induced Conductivity (SEBIC) layer to control a light modulating electrochromic (EC) film in a projection display device. Such control was deomonstrated but a variety of practical problems has prevented fabrication of a usable device. A major problem area is the interlayer needed to separate the EC and SEBIC films.
