PP-6148()/U Power Supply Advanced Development Models.

Abstract

The report describes design and development work which resulted in the production of three (3) ADM and fity-two (52) ET/ST models of PP-6148()/U Power Supply. Included is a comprehensive report of performance and environmental test results. The PP-6148()/U Power Supply is a lightweight power supply rated at 14 vdc and 28 vdc at 10 amperes. The supply is intended for universal military usage as an ac- to -dc power source for equipments that are designed to interface directly with a Type I standard battery. Special circuitry and control facilities provide a secondary usage as a battery charger for vented nickel cadmium, and sealed or vented zinc-silver oxide battery systems. (Author)
