Cartridge, 40mm: High Explosive Extended Range, XM683. (ENSURE 181)

Abstract

The Cartridge, 40mm, high explosive extended range, XM683, was evaluated by the Army Concept Team in Vietnam from 4 June to 13 July 1971. The purpose of the evaluation was to determine the military worth of the XM683 cartridge for use in airborne 40mm weapon systems in the operational environment of RVN.
