Advanced Avionic Digital Computer Baseline Definition.

Abstract

The AADC program demonstrates the feasibility of computer systems fabricated from a minimum number of functional building blocks. These basic building blocks are developed to provide the design flexibility needed to meet the various and unique functional and operational avionics requirements projected for the 1975-85 time frame and beyond. In addition, the AADC program will result in a set of detailed specifications enumerating the functional, electrical and physical characteristics of each functional module. These specifications can later be used to procure modular building blocks to support production programs. (Author)
