Gyro Lubricant Evaluation Program.

Abstract

The report describes a program to evaluate lubricants and application techniques intended for use in gyro spin-axis bearings. The program included: development of a life test facility; verification of bearing processing techniques; preparation of life test motors. Two lubricants were evaluated using different processing methods and application techniques. (Author)
