Lowering the Drop Altitudes and Updating the CARP Data for the C-130.

Abstract

A drop program was conducted to study the feasibility of lowering the drop altitudes and to update the computed air release point (CARP) computation method for normal airdrop from the C-130 drop aircraft. It was believed that this program would increase the accuracy of delivery as compared to the present delivery method. (Author)
