Abstract

The report concerns a one-day meeting on stabilizing superconductors held at the Rutherford High Energy Laboratory, Rutherford, Berkshire, England, on 23 April 1971. A number of tutorial papers were presented on principles and practice of cryogenic, adiabatic and dynamic stabilization of superconducting wire and cables. (Author)
