A Revised Critical State Identification Scheme for the Wave-Off Decision Device.

Abstract

A revised critical flight state identification scheme has been developed for the Wave-Off Decision Device. The new program, referred to as Terminal State Predictor, predicts accurately the ramp altitude clearance of an aircraft approaching a carrier and identifies a critical wave-off state. (Author)
