Uncertainties of Measurement,

Abstract

Uncertainties of measurement are classified into systematics and accidentals. the application of the simple mathematical techniques for the assessment of the uncertainties of measurement is described together with an appreciation of the problems posed in judging the risks of wrongful rejection or acceptance when the variability of the measured quantity is significant and its size approaches the specification limits.
