NORSAR (Norwegian Seismic Array). Phase 2. Installations 1969 and 1970

Abstract

Project NORSAR concerns installation and operation of a large seismic array in S-E Norway. This report covers the field installations of the so- called C-ring subarrays, i.e. 13 of the 14 peripheral subarrays, and also the establishing of a data processing center (DPC) and a maintenance center at Kjeller and telecommunication links between the DPC and the individual subarrays.
