Models of Adaptive Systems for Computer Aided Instruction.
Abstract
Pilot experiments on map or terrain learning in conditions of interference/no interference were carried out to test an hypothesis regarding the reconstructive character of memory. One part of the hypothesis is supported by the data, one part remains undecided. The document also forms Annex 6 to 'A Review of Research on Learning under this and Previous Contracts. Its application to the Teaching, Training, and Evaluation of Problem Solving Skills', outlines a Learning Theory in which the current view of memory is crucial and describes practical applications of this theory in teaching and training of cognitive, intellectural and perceptual motor skills.
