Peculiarities of Construction and Fundamental Characteristics of a Semiconductor Analog Calculating Complex,

Abstract

Generalized design of large analog computers is discussed. Means of modelling various dynamic systems described by usual linear and nonlinear differential equations with constant or variable coefficients are defined as an analog computing complex. The design of such a computer should be suitable for mass production. Factors influencing accuracy of operation of the computer are reviewed. The design of electrical components used in the machine is discussed. USSR components suitable for the assembly of such computers are evaluated. Principles of connecting the components into a complex unit are reviewed. (Author)
