Automatic Navigation.
Abstract
The contract is charged with conducting a program of predominantly theoretical research in the general field of optimal control with special emphasis on the estimation problem and automatic navigation. The twenty-one research summaries contained in the report document, in part, new research initiated since the last interim summary report. As evidenced by these summaries, the most noticable change from the efforts of previous years is the increasing emphasis of the research upon the application of optimum systems control and estimation theory to specific problems in automatic navigation.
