Mechanics of Composite Materials.
Abstract
The primary objective of the program was the determination of the stress and strain fields in those local regions adjacent to the particulate fillers in matrix composites. Not only is the general mechanical behavior best understood on this microstructural level, but subsequent attainment of critical values of stresses and strains can be incorporated in an appropriate condition of failure.
