Technical Progress in Power Engineering (Tekhnicheskii Progress Energetiki),

Abstract

The technical progress made in power engineering in the Soviet Union since the Revolution is reviewed. Progress in thermal power engineering, atomic power engineering, hydraulic power engineering and electric power transmission is reviewed. A few possible trends in further development of power engineering are outlined. (Author)
