Change in Strength Properties of Polycarbonate Under the Influence of a Powerful Light Beam (Izmenenie Prochnostnykh Svoistv Polikarbonata Pri Vozdeistvii Moshchnogo Svetovogo Potoka),

Abstract

It has been demonstrated in that a large number of microcracks covered with carbon black are formed within polycarbonate (PC) when it is struck by a powerful light flux. These microformations should probably have a definite influence on the strength properties of a polymer specimen. This work is dedicated to the study of this influence. (Author)
