Kinetics of Crack Development during Cyclical Softening (Kinetika Razvitiya Treshchin Pri Tsiklicheskom Razuprochnenii),
Abstract
Studies of the kinetics of crack development with cyclical softening were performed for low-alloy Cr-Mo-V steel, using both smooth and notched specimens. The results of testing of smooth specimens were used to determine the parameters of the cyclical deformation diagrams for loads with fixed amplitudes of loading and deformation, as well as the types of rupture under these loading conditions.
