Shock Wave at Ocean Surface: Bibliography of Technical Reports and Papers Published in Scientific Journals during Reporting Period July 1, 1970 to September 30, 1971.
Abstract
The annual report describes recent results of an analytic study of the diffraction of a normal shock wave at ocean interfaces including interfaces resulting from stratification due to density, temperature, and pressure variations. Solutions for shock propagation in non-uniform media have been obtained in both linearized and general nonlinear formulations. The results have been reported in several journal publications and presented at a number of international colloquia during the reporting period July 1, 1970 to September 30, 1971. (Author)
