Abstract

The paper deals with the following problems: the rolling resistance and its influence upon the tire life and the car utilization economy; the loss of power caused by rolling; hysteresis and the tire tread work; the stationary investigations; inertial and dynamometric method; hydraulic system used to make the measurements of the rolling resisting force; the influence of the structural technological and exploitation parameters; the results of the comparative investigations concerning homemade and foreign tires.
