Results of the Experimental Work and Studies of Highly Fire Proof Materials for A Channel MGD-Generator,

Abstract

Experimental research results are given from a study of the thermal stability, evaporability, and electrophysical properties of refractory structural materials. Problems of aging and interaction with other oxides are discussed for zirconium dioxide based oxidation systems. Detailed results are given from work on the synthesis and research of the properties of silicon carbide and its compositions with high melting point metals (molybdenum and titanium, etc.). Results are given from the study of materials under normal conditions of an open cycle MHD generator channel.
