A Few Problems on Electrode Tension in Electrochemistry,

Abstract

The author discusses the following: physical significance of electrode tension; meaning of hydrogen scale; selection of plus or minus sign. Measurability of electrode tension and the absoluteness of electrode tension also are discussed along with electrochemical terms and definitions. The purpose of the report is to make use of the information in the CITCE bulletin (Comite International de Thermodynamique et de Cinetique Electrochemiques) and confine it to problems related to balance electric tension.
