Effects of Training on Employee Knowledge of and Attitudes toward the Navy Industrial Fund.

Abstract

The purpose of the Navy Industrial Fund is to provide working capital for industrial-type and commercial-type activities, and to control and account effectively for the cost of programs and work performed within or among departments and agencies of the Department of the Navy. The document is concerned with the problems of a complex organization faced with ever-increasing change. Change is the focus of a research project to determine the effects of training on employee knowledge of and attitudes toward the Navy Industrial Fund. Behavior change in a civil service-military organization was analyzed. This report on the project covers background information, a review of pertinent literature, methods and test apparatus, organization and management, attitude change, results and discussion, conslusions, and recommendations.
