Handbook of Rocket Exhaust Characteristics.

Abstract

The report is a compilation of data on exhaust characteristics of solid propellant JATOs. It is intended to be useful to airframe and installation designers and to medical and safety personnel interested in the physiological effects of rocket exhaust. 'JATO' is used here as the basic term for jet-thrust units including boosters, sustainers and aircraft assisted take-off devices. (Author)
