Investigation of the Absorption of Infrared Radiation by Nitrous Oxide from 4000 to 6700/cm (2.5 to 1.5 micrometers)

Abstract

All of the N2O bands expected to absorb significantly between 4000 and 6700/cm have been listed, and the strengths of several of the stronger bands have been determined. Spectral curves are shown for samples at low pressure so that the line structure remains and for samples at approximately 15 atm with the structure smoothed out.
