Microplasma Arc Welding of Metals and Alloys,

Abstract

The d-c and a-c arc low-current microplasma welding of metals and their alloys was studied to determine the effect of the consumption of the plasma-forming precathode gas and the anode protective (cooling) gas, the voltage, and the length of the microplasma torch on the quality of welding.
