Electronic and Radiation Damage Properties of Rutile

Abstract

The report discusses the work done during the first 17 months on the electronic and radiation damage properties of rutile. Work was divided into the following areas: Crystal growth, dielectric loss, devices, hall effect, radiation damage, theory and data analysis, optical absorption spectroscopy, photoconductivity and photoemission, review paper, and ultrasonic attenuation. In each area a brief review of the proposal expectation is given, followed by a description of what has been accomplished.
