Friction and Wear of Plastic Bearings in the Machine Assemblies during Conditions of Inadequate Lubrication and Methods of Increasing Their Efficiency,

Abstract

The author considers the effects of friction, abrasion, metal contact, heat, and wear of kapron and textolite in comparing plastics as bearing materials with common bearing metals. Bearing metal couples are considered for improving bearing properties.
