Contaminant Particles in Metal-to-Metal Closures.

Abstract

The report contains the results of analytical and experimental investigations to develop metal-to-metal contaminant-resistant closures. Investigations were comprised of static and dynamic hit frequency and life cycle tests of hard-on-hard (440C) and hard-on-soft (copper) closures with 1/2-inch nominal OD. (Author)
