Atomic and Molecular Lifetime Measurements

Abstract

The author's research on atomic and molecular lifetimes is presented in eight articles: Radiative lifetimes for CdI, II and ZnI, II ultraviolet multiplets; Radiative and predissociation probabilities for the OH (A doublet Sigma(+)) state; R.K.R. Franck-Condon factors and absolute oscillator strengths for some ultraviolet transitions in NH, SiH, S2 and SO; and some metal oxides; Absolute oscillator strengths for some resonance multiplets of Ca, Mg, B, and Al and their singly charged ions; RKR FCF's for blue and ultraviolet transitions of some molecules of astrophysical interest and some comments on the interstellar abundance of CH, CH(+), and SiH(+); Radiative lifetimes and absolute oscillator strengths for an SiO transition; Use of electron beam phase-shift techniques in radiative lifetime determinations.
