Abstract

The report discusses critical system parameters that affect combined observer system performance using real-time thermal imaging systems. The paper introduces the subject, defines the more important terms, discusses their measurement, makes recommendations, and finally presents an outline of procurement specifications to be completed by filling in appropriate spaces with numbers related to the requirements the forward-looking infrared (FLIR) is to fulfill.
