SAM-A, an Adjoint Monte Carlo Gamma Ray Transport Code.

Abstract

SAM-A is a time-dependent adjoint gamma ray Monte Carlo code used to calculate primary and secondary gamma ray data at a point or volume detector. SAM-A is part of the SAM-CE system which comprises an ENDF/B Round 2 neutron cross section processing code (ENDTS), a general purpose forward Monte Carlo code (SAM-F) and SAM-A. SAM-A and SAM-F use Combinatorial Geometry for the description of complex three-dimensional configurations. (Author)
