Liquid Borne Noise Reduction. Volume 1. Mathematical Analysis

Abstract

The report presents the results of a mathematical analysis of pressure, flow rate, and acoustic power levels at various points in an idealized piping system which is subjected to statistical inputs. Successful adaptation and use of the results will aid in the prevention of excessive liquidborne noise in shipboard piping systems.
