The Reception of Morse Code through Narrow Filters,

Abstract

In theory, slow Morse Code is transmissible through a circuit of narrow bandwidth and accompanying noise correspondingly reduced. In practice, operators do not like narrow bandwidths, when the noise is impulsive in nature, rather than Gaussian. These experiments attempt to reconcile these two points and seek an optimum bandwidth. (Author)
