Formal Principles of Constructing a Mathematical Model for Object Identification,

Abstract

The authors are interested in studying an arbitrarily chosen stationary physical process which may occur in various plants. Within the set of process identification problems the authors are concerned only with the one of constructing a mathematical model. The formal requirements for this construction are given in terms of an algebraic outline of a dimensional analysis, so as to reveal how a process is affected by the plant in which it occurs.
