On the Grammar and Model-Theoretic Semantics of Children's Noun Phrases.

Abstract

The paper discusses in an informal way the application of model-theoretic semantics to the analysis of children's noun phrases. The ideas behind such an application are discussed in some detail and examples are given from the speech of young children in English, French and Chinese. (Author)
