Carbon Dioxide in the Surface Waters of the Barents Sea: Southwind Expedition-1970.

Abstract

The report presents the results of measurements of the equilibrium concentration of carbon dioxide with respect to air in the surface waters of the Barents Sea during the late summer 1970 aboard the U.S. Coast Guard Icebreaker SOUTHWIND. This investigation was undertaken to gain information on the magnitude of carbon dioxide partial pressures in the region of arctic summer sea ice pack. (Author)
